Young Living simply requires the one-time purchase of a $185 Start Living
with NingXia Red Kit offers a $21.90 savings over individual
product pricing.
The only on-going commitment is that a distributor
must make an order of at least 50PV (roughly $50) each year (very easy to do). If
12 months go by during which a 50PV order is not made, the distributor is simply
dropped from Young Living's database and must start from scratch.
As mentioned previously, distributors are not be pressured to buy or "push" products.
On the other hand, building a business is a very real option. Most distributors are
so pleased with these products that they tell family and friends. Distributors
get credit for the purchases of people they refer and this has resulted in substantial
incomes for many. For this reason, a distributor in the U.S. is required to provide
a Social Security number...just in case s/he starts making money, the IRS will want
to know.
Additional Discounts
For additional discounts, distributors have the option of enrolling in the Essential
Rewards Autoship program. Distributors are free to change products as often as they
wish, as long as the value is over 50PV each month. And distributors are free to
cancel at anytime, although there is incentive not to because the rewards get
more valuable over time.
Some of the benefits of autoship are:
- 10% credit toward future purchases
- Grows to 15% after 6 months
- Grows to 20% after 12 months
- Free training CD (new each month)
- Deeply discounted shipping (substantial with heavy NingXia Red bottles)
Add the 10-20% autoship credit to the 24% distributor discount and the
savings are essentially 34% in the beginning and
grow to 44% after a year.
STEPS TO BECOME A DISTRIBUTOR
- 1. Go HERE and
choose INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTOR
- 2. AGREE to Distributor Agreement
- 3. And continue the process until completed
- 4. Write down the member # you are assigned and the password and
PIN you chose.
- 5. Make your first order and include the $185 Start Living Kit. (Although
the computer already shows you as distributor, your discount is not triggered until
one of these kits are purchased.)
An alternative to doing this online is to call Young Living at 800-371-3515 and
walk through the process with a live operator. Be sure to give
member #926101 as Sponsor/Enroller.
